A charitable trust run collectively by 15 villages, working for the families around them.
Medisave Healthcare & Charitable Trust is a registered charitable trust collectively run by 15 villages, with its office at Chhapi in Vadgam taluka of Banaskantha district. Its work is simple to describe: make a hospital visit cost a village family less, and make help easier to reach when someone falls ill.
It does this through the Medisave health card. The trust agrees rates with hospitals, clinics, labs, doctors and ambulance services, registers families village by village through local operators, and gives every family one card that all of those partners recognise.

What your family gets with the card
One membership covers the head of the family and every member registered with them.
Lower bills at partner hospitals
Show the card at the counter. Partner hospitals, clinics and labs bill you at the rate agreed with the trust, and the saving is printed on your invoice.
The whole family on one card
Parents, children and elders are listed on a single card with one number and one QR code. No separate card for each person.
Doctor appointments
Find a doctor or hospital, pick a day and time, and send a request from the app. You get a reminder before the visit.
Emergency ambulance
See the ambulance services nearest to you, call them directly or send a request, and follow the vehicle until it reaches you.
Reports and prescriptions, kept safe
Store reports, prescriptions and bills in the app, sorted by family member, so they are in your pocket at the next visit.

Every visit is recorded with what you paid and what the card saved you, month by month and member by member.

From registration to your first visit
You do not need a smartphone to join. An operator can do every step with you.

A Medisave operator in your village records your family's details. No operator nearby? Call the trust and we will guide you.

Choose a plan
Pick the monthly or the yearly plan. Pay by UPI or card, or in cash to your operator.

Receive your card
You get a printed card with your family's QR code. The same card is always available in the Medisave app.

Show it and save
Show the card at any partner hospital, doctor, lab or ambulance service. They scan it and bill you at the card rate.

The trust brings card families to you and gives you the tools to serve them. Each partner has its own login.
Hospitals, clinics and labs
Scan a family's card, bill at the agreed rate, issue the invoice, and receive appointment requests and emergency alerts.
Doctors
Set the days and hours you are available at each hospital, accept appointment requests and keep a record of visits.
Ambulance services
Receive emergency requests from families near you, coordinate with the receiving hospital and bill each ride by the kilometre.

Medisave is a charitable trust. Donations fund its welfare work and help patients who cannot meet the cost of treatment.
Give once or every month

A receipt for every donation
Each donation gets a receipt from the trust carrying its registration number.

When a patient needs urgent treatment, the trust opens an appeal and shows how much has been raised against the amount needed.

Things families ask us
Is the Medisave card health insurance?
No. It is a membership card from a charitable trust. You pay the partner hospital or doctor yourself, at the lower rate the trust has agreed with them. There are no claims to file.
Who is covered by one card?
The head of the family and the family members registered with them. Everyone is listed on the same card.
How do I pay and renew?
Choose the monthly or yearly plan. You can pay in the app by UPI or card, or pay your operator in cash. The card shows the date it is valid until, and the app reminds you before it expires.
Where can I use the card?
At the trust's partner hospitals, clinics, labs, doctors and ambulance services. The current list is in the app under Browse, or call the trust and ask.
I do not have a smartphone. Can I still join?
Yes. Your operator registers your family and takes the payment, and the printed card works at every partner on its own.
What if I lose my card?
Your card is always in the app. For a new printed card, contact your operator or call the trust.
